Treatment Overview: Skin Boosters use fine needles to deliver a hyaluronic acid-based solution into the skin's dermis. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance that retains water, ensuring intense hydration and elasticity. Skin Boosters treat a range of concerns, including fine lines, uneven texture, and tired-looking skin, by nourishing the skin from within. The result is smoother, softer, and more radiant skin that looks naturally refreshed. Pre care: Avoid alcohol, aspirin, or blood-thinning medications 24–48 hours before treatment to minimize bruising. Discontinue the use of active skincare products, such as retinol, for a week prior. Ensure the treatment area is clean and free of makeup. Aftercare: Avoid touching or massaging the treated area for 24 hours post-treatment. Refrain from sun exposure, intense exercise, and saunas for 48 hours. Use a gentle cleanser and a rich moisturizer to support skin healing. Apply broad-spectrum sunscreen daily and avoid exfoliants for one week. Contraindications: Active skin infections, acne, or open wounds in the treatment area. Pregnancy or breastfeeding. Known allergies to hyaluronic acid or lidocaine. Possible Complications: Mild redness, swelling, or bruising at the injection sites, which typically subside within a few days. Rare risks include prolonged swelling or infection. Skincare/Benefits: Deeply hydrates the skin for a plumper, healthier look. Improves skin texture, elasticity, and tone. Cancellation Policy
Cancellation & booking policy Deposits A deposit is required to secure all appointments at NJK Derma. This deposit is non-refundable for cancellations or non-attendance. Cancellations & rescheduling Appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled without charge provided a minimum of 48 hours' notice is given. Cancellations or requests to reschedule made within 48 hours of the appointment time will result in the deposit being forfeited. Appointments may be moved once without penalty, provided the request is made at least 48 hours in advance. A second reschedule request will require a new deposit to be paid before the appointment is confirmed. Refunds No refunds are issued once a treatment has taken place. Should you have any concerns regarding your treatment, please contact Nicola directly at bookings@njkderma.com. Late arrivals Please aim to arrive on time for your appointment. Arrivals more than 10 minutes late may result in a reduced treatment time, with the full appointment fee remaining payable. Where late arrival prevents the treatment from being carried out safely or in full, the appointment may need to be rescheduled and the cancellation policy will apply. Consultation fee A consultation fee is payable at the time of booking. This fee is redeemable in full against your treatment programme. Consultation fees are non-refundable.
