Service Description

Chemical peels are non-invasive treatments designed to exfoliate and rejuvenate the skin by applying a solution that removes damaged outer layers. They help improve skin tone, texture, and clarity, addressing concerns like fine lines, acne, hyperpigmentation, and uneven skin texture. Depending on the strength of the peel, it can range from mild to deep, providing customised results for a smoother, more youthful complexion. Ideal for most skin types, chemical peels offer minimal downtime and can be tailored to target your specific skin needs. Treatment Overview: Chemical peels involve applying a specialised solution to the skin to exfoliate and promote cellular turnover. This treatment can address a variety of skin concerns, including uneven tone, acne scars, fine lines, and dullness, revealing a healthier, glowing complexion. Pre-Care: Avoid retinoids or exfoliating products for one week before treatment. Refrain from direct sun exposure and use sunscreen leading up to the appointment. Ensure your skin is free from any active irritation or open wounds. Aftercare: Apply a gentle moisturiser and high-SPF sunscreen daily. Avoid excessive heat, strenuous exercise, and direct sunlight for 48 hours post-treatment. Do not pick or peel any flaking skin to avoid scarring. Contraindications: Pregnant or breastfeeding women. Active cold sores or infections in the treatment area. Recent use of Accutane or other potent exfoliating treatments (wait 6 months). Potential Complications: Some redness, flaking, or mild irritation may occur post-peel. These effects usually resolve within a week. Skin Types Best Suited: Chemical peels are ideal for individuals with uneven skin tone, fine lines, acne scars, and dull or textured skin. Clients with extremely sensitive or inflamed skin may require alternative treatments.
